Head Coach: Mike Arnerich
Experience: Coach Arnerich has coached in the West Valley Association for the last two seasons at both the Jr. Pee Wee and Pee level as an assistant coach. He played four years of highschool football for West Valley High School as a starting Center and inside Linebacker. Coach Arnerich has been involved with youth football since his days as an Anderson Wildcat where he played for five years on the offensive line, as a Defensive Tackle, Fullback and Linebacker. In addition to football, he has coached Little League baseball in both Cottonwod and Oakley, CA. Coach Arnerich enjoys playing 3-on-3 basketball, hunting, camping, riding quads, playing softball with friends and spending time with his family.
Coaching Philosophy: "In the past, I have coached teams and watched other coaches with different philosophies. I've seen the excitement of winning teams and the lack of interest from dismal teams. I have also seen teams not reach their potential and teams that have far exceeded it. I've seen players on average teams having a great time and players from excellent teams that are not having any fun at all. So, with that observation, my main philosophy is to teach the kids the difference between "the privilege" and "the right" to play football. I will also teach the kids that all positions are open and that there will be no favoritism. None. They will learn discipline. They will learn commitment. They will learn respect. They will learn sportsmanship, and they will learn the game of football."
